For this final winter edition, we'll have David Baltazar, fresh back from Guinea, with new inspirations and new African rhythms! We'll also have GuiOm̐ joining us with the power of the didgeridoo, the mystical sound of world flutes, and all the magic he has to offer! This will also mark the departure of Momo Fleur and Alexandre for Guatemala!

✨ We invite you on a musical and physical journey: a moving exploration to the rhythm of our live music, entirely improvised using a variety of instruments. This space is co-created by the members of SWC: Alexandre Drouin, David Baltazar, and GuiOm̐, intuitive musicians at heart, as well as Maude Guévin, somatic facilitator and singer!

🎶 Our intention is to create a warm and accessible space for the community – a time to gather, to reconnect with yourself, with others (if you feel so inclined), and with whatever is happening within you in the here and now. We invite both the depth of experience and lightness.

🙏🏼 The evening will begin gently, in an atmosphere of listening and presence, allowing you to connect with your deepest feelings. Gradually, the sounds will evolve, naturally inviting you to movement, dance, and the free expression of your body.

🪩 Inspired by the principles of ecstatic dance, this space aims to be safe, inclusive, and supportive. You are invited to be fully yourself, in the freedom to be, with respect for others, and without any expectation of performance.

🌀 Trance is an altered state of consciousness induced by rhythmic repetition and a progressive sound structure. These two factors can support a plunge into the unknown and a deep immersion. Our music facilitates this experience for those who wish to surrender to it.

🍂 Evening's program:
7:00 PM - Opening of the space
7:15 PM - Beginning of the ecstatic trance + short moment of guided movement (return to oneself facilitated by Maude)
8:45 PM - End of the trip + sharing circle
9:00 PM - Space closes
